Set a comfortable distance from the centre of town, Dalmore is one of Bridgetown’s distinctive heritage properties and the perfect landscape for those seeking a stunning mix of rural elegance and country charm.
A century ago, Dalmore was one of the top apple producing farms in the state, and was also known for her magnificent stone fruit and acres of beautiful gardens. The heirloom pear orchard still stands today, with over 65 trees that take your breath away when in bloom.
With over 250 acres of rolling hills beyond the homestead, Dalmore has many beautiful locations for couples to choose from when planning their ceremonies and receptions. The back paddock is a beautiful ceremony location with its magnificent old trees and enormous granite boulders, while The Shed, with ample outdoor entertaining space and a bespoke Jarrah bar, is an ideal reception venue. Guests can enjoy canapés on the patio overlooking the custom-built pool and garden oasis while taking in views of stunning creek line and the 130 year-old Workman’s Cottage.
Danny and Emilie Abbiss are deeply proud of Dalmore and feel privileged to share their home and farm with couples seeking the perfect place to tie the knot.
“We have everything couples need right here on the farm,” Danny explains, ”the perfect ceremony venue, a completely unique reception space, and dozens of photo shoot locations.” With so much to offer, Dalmore is a rare gem in the SW.
For couples interested in holding their celebrations at Dalmore, Emilie and Danny are happy to arrange viewings by appointment.
“We only accept a few weddings each year, and so we put everything into those celebrations.” Emilie explains. “We want Dalmore weddings to always be one-of-a-kind, rare and beautiful events that couples can treasure.“
